Thankfully, if you find yourself in need of a caffeine fix, Nashville’s got you covered. Today, we’re sharing three spots we love that have multiple locations all around the city!
Bongo Java is a well-loved brand with lots of coffee shops around town. We’re partial to Bongo East, in 5 Points, and BOX (Bongo on 10th) in 12 South, though - both for their great natural light and casual atmosphere, and because they’ve got play corners with blocks, puzzles, and toys for kids. If you need to get out of the house, take a meeting, or catch up with a friend, these are great options if your little ones are along for the ride.
Drink of choice: Grey Skies, made with espresso, coconut milk, bergamot, and local chocolate.
The Well is another joint with a laid-back, family-friendly feel. We also love how much this company gives back to create clean drinking water wells in many African countries. You can sip your coffee knowing that you’re doing good! With shops in Green Hills, Brentwood, Bellevue, and more, there’s probably a Well close to you, and we definitely recommend stopping by.
Drink of choice: whatever hand poured selection is on the board. So smooth, you won’t even need cream or sugar. (If you’re an espresso kind of gal, we’d go for the Fireside latte.)
Perhaps the most famous coffee staple of all, we’d be remiss to leave Frothy Monkey out of the conversation. Great patio space and a kids’ menu? Sign us up. They also serve up delicious breakfast and lunch, and carry a wide selection of hot teas, so even if you’re not a coffee drinker, this is a great stop to sit and stay a while - especially if it’s porch weather! 12 South, The Nations, and Franklin all have fantastic outdoor seating options. If you’ve never been, it’s a Nashville bucket list kind of spot.
Drink of choice: White Monkey Mocha, which has just a hint of banana flavor. It might sound strange, but once you try it, you’ll be hooked.
